Our Story:
How SoulQuest Journeys & Adventures Came to Be
Ghana 2024: The Trip that Changed It All
SoulQuest Journeys & Adventures was born after NFV Founder and CEO, David Collier King spent eight days in Ghana in 2024. A full-circle moment, David who had desired to develop a tour program based around black experiences such as HBCUs and US-based black American historical sites of significance, had finally seen his idea come to a complete concept: A tourism and travel program focused on empowering, educating, and exposing African Americans and those of the diaspora to the worldwide histories, cultures, and societies of black people through immersive travel.
From this expanded vision, SoulQuest Journeys & Adventures was born, bridging the gap of exposure and empowerment through travel for African Americans and those of the diaspora, with a goal of promoting worldwide interconnectedness and unity, for the advancement of social, cultural, and economic progress.

Diaspora-centered historical sites and tours
Sites across the world have been crucial and have touched the story of those of the African diaspora. These sites, be they part of the painful history of colonization, slavery, and exploitation, or healing, culture, social empowerment, and advancement, each of these sites collectively tell the story, uplift the struggle, and allow reflection on the past and hopes for the future. SoulQuest Journeys & Adventures can help expose those of the diaspora to sites worldwide to provide education, healing, and empowerment.
